This brew features a strong, toasty chocolate flavor and aroma with lactose (milk sugar) providing a sweet finish and big bodied beer. This big boozy adult Ovaltine will have you saying whoopee, a zeppelin!

Dark brown almost black with a two finger tan head. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla and roasted grains. Taste is also chocolate, vanilla and roasted grains.

Chocolate fudge malt and hay aroma. Black with moderate brown head. Moderately sweet chocolate malt and mildly bitter dry hay and wood flavor. Good body. Nice - not too sweet.

On tap at Goodwood, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of lactose, with light cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with lactose and cocoa. Dry despite the lactose. Solid.
