Berliner Weisse med massor av saffran. Vi gjorde den för att passa till julen, men den har blivit så uppskattad att vi kommer brygga den året runt! En öl med vacker färg som verkligen lever upp till sitt namn "Golden Sour"

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with an off-hite head. Super chemical aroma which probably is the saffron. Medium body, extremely fizzy, getting thin and watery pretty quickly with hardly any tartness and just the watered out - thankfully - saffron notes that remain chemical and deeply unpleasant. Bland finish. The Swedes have this traditional Xmas cake called 'Lussekatte' made with saffron which they are very proud of. And seemingly they find it grand idea to turn it into a beer. This is a horrible, disgusting idea. 200223

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear golden, rich head. Aroma of lemon and saffron. Tart with light body and clean mouthfeel. Shampoo, saffron and citric acid. Low bitterness. Technically decent, but pretty much as bad idea as you'd think.
