DESCRIPTION

Filungar was originally a collaboration with Vault City.

It’s an IPA fermented through with a traditional Norwegian Kviek yeast. This Voss strain ferments hot and kicks out bags of fruity orange and citrus esters.

It’s been liberally hopped with Denali, El Dorado and Citra for good measure.

Goes well with strong winds and stronger ships.

Featuring Johnny, master of mixed ferm at Vault City.

Sour mash IPA. Really fruity buy smokey and wooden too. Very interesting. I think rauchbier suits this yeast more.

Draft. An unclear yellow beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours cloudy gold with a big, fluffy white head. Fun stuff overall, has a fair amount of pithy citrus character, some dry pale malts, grapefruit, lemon rind, a little dankness, some cat pee. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. A few pulpy orange juice vibes in the conclusion, with more pissy accents, rindy citrus. Novel stuff. Nice depth. Drinks pretty good.
