2019 bottle shared. Thanks Adam! Pours a pitch black with a small bit of brown foam that dissipates. Lovely vanilla focused nose with fudge brownie and bourbon and oak notes. Smooth and velvety on the palate with light coffee bitterness, smooth vanilla and liquid brownie fudge notes.
At the source. Pours a pitch black colour and a brown head with a small ring retention. Aroma's: big vanilla, sweet chocolate, bourbon. Retronasal: bourbon, alcohol, vanilla,oak, sweet. Flavour is heavy sweet and somewhat alcoholic. Strong alcohol feel. Full bodied. Long finish.
Boozy chocolate cake with a ton of fresh vanilla. Delicious
Always an enormous pleasure. Thick, boozy and lotd of bourbon. Chocolatey malts pair excellently with bags of soft vanilla. This is one of the good bottles, and it's perfectly balanced between vanilla and stout. Soft, sweet and very very rich.
