Bottle from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Aroma is dark malt with caramel, some roast, touch of dried fruit. Some chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, body is medium. Well-realised Bock, nicely malty, especially appreciate the roasty twist.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, brown colour with ruby shimmer and small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, sulphureous, dark beige head. Dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, some dark caramel, roasty, dark malty overtones. Taste is dark and caramel malty, minimally roasty, notes of malt lozenge, some dark caramel, a touch of roasty and hoppy bitterness, very light fruity hints of plum and red berries. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Nice colour, nice maltiness, not overly deep - decent.
