A classic American wheat beer using fresh watermelon. Straw-colored and refreshing with a kiss of watermelon aroma and flavor.

Single can from Trader Joe’s , Downers Grove. Popping the pull tab on another brewer that’s new to our town. Right off, though, the aroma does not offer much to thrill, just a base malty smell that has some trouble making itself known. Body is hazy gold, matching an American wheat style, with a puffy head that kicks up easily. Redeems itself in the taste, though. A milder version of a zesty wheat malt beer, but there it is, that background of Watermelon juice. Juice flavor is use a little bit sour; not like a Jolly Rancher, but, well, more like a slice of Watermelon that’s sat outside for an hour. But that’s what makes this beer what it is. Can has an "Enjoy by 6/30" on the bottom, so it should be nice and fresh. But then, it’s a lighter, summer beer that offers something different, and considering how "thin" the actual flavor of watermelon is, they’ve actually managed to make this stand out as one of the few successful production versions of the rare "Watermelon beer."

12 ounce can. Cloudy pale yellow gold color. Small bubbly white head. Lemony wheat malt nose has a hint of watermelon. Upfront flavor is pale wheat with more lemon and watermelon. Light and refreshing. Thin bodied and lightweight.

On tap at Sage, Brooklyn. Pours pale yellow with white head. Wheat and light to medium watermelon. Refreshing. Not overly sweet and quite interesting.

Can. Pours crystal clear pale golden, small fizzy white head, dissipates soda-fast leaving a touch of lacing. Aroma is wheat, lemon, watermelons. Flavor is light sweet, lots of watermelon and some light bitterness as well; kinda metallic. Light body. Meh

12 oz can pour. Pours a super light yellow color with a sweet fruit aroma to it. Really light, easy drinking brew with some nice wheat touch and a watermelon flavor that is closer to bubblegum than a true watermelon fruit flavor. Not saying it’s bad. Sweeter side this beer is. Flavorful for sure. Decent beer here.

Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps faible.
