Sticky and resinous; citrus and tropical fruit; Permanent Daylight delivers attractive hoppy flavors from some of our best hops. Nelson Sauvin, Citra & Centennial collaborate on bright aromas of Meyer lemon, pineapple and melon, followed by flavors of tangerine zest, white watermelon flesh and pine. A perfect example of what we call West Coast haze.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 02, 2020. Aroma is hop forward and rather dank with balanced fruity notes as well. Gooseberry, mango, tropical citrus and guava for the fruity hop notes. Light cracker malt notes and a hint of alcohol. Pours a hazy, murky orange color with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes to a small film that lingers. Medium lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes and hints of biscuit. Somewhat strong bitterness and light alcohol spice. Moderately strong dank, resinous hop notes and lighter notes of gooseberry, guava and tropical citrus. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with solid hop notes and a bit more bitterness than you normally get from a hazy IPA.

On tap at Cellarmaker. It pours a light gold color with a white head. The aroma is citric with some grape and pineapple. The flavor is better with spicy hops, more complex citrus and tropical character. Pineapple, mango, grapefruit. Smooth and snappy on the palate. A very nice IPA.

Wonderful fresh hops smell and upon first so it even seems like there is some beer in these hops. Lots of grapefruit, pine, and some grass. Big citrus and some light malt. Pours cloudy golden with good head and lacing. Very bitter finish. Growler brought fresh from brewpub tasted thanks to jbassdc from untappd.

Pours a pale gold, nice and bright. The liquid is pretty cloudy. Rocky white head that leaves some lacing down the walls of the glass. There’s huge pineapple in the aroma, just a big old burst of juice. It’s a little bit vegetal, though that might be from freshness - they put it on today. It’s all hops. Some pine. Interestingly dank. Lime, honeysuckle, tangerine. It’s a whole bunch of sweet, juicy hops that leans heavily towards tropical fruit. Taste is full of hop flavor, as I’ve come to expect from Cellarmaker. Lots more tropical citrus. Big on pineapple, again. Fairly dry but still juicy and easy to drink. Very light malt lends little flavor, maybe just a hint of simple sweetness in the background. Bitterness is mild. Crisp, light feel. It seems a bit more effervescent than some of their beers. This is really nice stuff. Cellarmaker makes awesome hoppy beers, and this is no exception.
