0,2 glass fra fat (planke) på Alaus Biblioteka, Vilnius: uklar korngul med flott skum som varer. Både i aroma og smak finner jeg banan, gule epler, tyggis, belgiskngjær, pepper og nellik. Flott balanse og munnfylde, ikke for søt.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. Cloudy yellow with a bit of white foam. Aroma of esters - overripe fruits, mild sourness, honey and a vegetal hint. Sweetish-sourish flavor with fruity esters, a bit of honey, a spicy note, mild sourness and a vegetal note. Medium-bodied. Interesting. Reminds me of Sahti in a way.

Keg at Alaus Namai, Vilnius. Cloudy golden, creamy head. Honey and banana up front. Sweet and fruity, yeasty and mellow with pepper, green hops sugar and minerals. Growing bitter finish.

1 l plastic bottle, Bamb. 6.9%. dull, dark gold with lace. Super cloudy. Nose of lemon, grapefruit, yogurt, caramel corn, some puke. Flavors of pear, banana, clove, lightly tangy and sour, very rich and bready. Nice lemon. A bit pukey and challenging, though. Interesting.

Small offwhite head. Hazy deep dark dirty yellow body. Strong banana and blueberry aroma with earthy rye notes. Dry-sweet chalky banana and rye taste with resiny earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish dusty mouthfeel. Dry peppery chalky earhy aftertaste with herbal ashy notes. Fairly bitter. Nice, drinkable, and unusual. Like a toned-down sahti. (1l PET bottle, Bamb Alyne, Vilnius. 7% said the bottle.)

(Draught at Alaus Namai, Vilnius) Poured pale orange and cloidy. Head was small and white Aroma contained citricness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, sweetness, mildly grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter.
