As with our 100th beer, number 150 is also a Barley Wine, where we have combined a complex hop profile including a first wort, and a rich malt body to create a beer that is nice now but is designed to age.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, caramel, and dusty hops, leading to a dry alcoholic finsk.

(Keg at BrewDog Söder, 20160323) The beer poured dark brown and amber. Its head was small and white. Aroma had sourness and malts. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, sourness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was acrid and sweet. A messy barley wine. Not my thing.

Keg at BrewDog Södermalm, Stockholm. Hazy copper colour, small head. Aroma of caramel and coconut. Sweet with full body and clean, oily mouthfeel. Fruity and caramelly with some grass. Warming finish with resinous bitterness. Lacks the depth and character mo match its size. Perhaps some of that will come along with some aging?
