As with our 100th beer, number 150 is also a Barley Wine, where we have combined a complex hop profile including a first wort, and a rich malt body to create a beer that is nice now but is designed to age.

On tap at Vrteška 2018, Belgrade. Deep amber, small off-white head. Fruity, strong malts in aroma, toasty, light caramel, herbs and leaves, bread and alcohol. Sweet, nice balance, not too sweet, light spices, bread, candy. Not too boozy, full body, sticky, light finish. Very good!

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, reddish brwon colour with small, late awakening, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, slightly sugary, malty aroma, notes of caramel, almond, minimally papery, hoppy overtones, hints of dried fruit, raisin. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly fruity, hints of almond, raisin, slightly papery hoppy overtones; lingering, sweet-ish caramel malty finish with a warming touch of alcohol.

Tap at Vrteška fest 2018 in Belgrade-Serbia. Cloudy amber-orangey pour, creamy orangey foam. Nose: socks, tennis ball, meh. Mouth: sweet start, sugary water, what is this? Did not get it.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ BBP Anniversary Festival 2017. Dark brown amber. Huge on herbal & medicinal qualities for the style, bitter, bitter medicinal, dried dark fruit & almost cough syrup. Not my preferred profile in Barley Wine but not badly done & heavy at it too.

Smell is creamy malts, bit spice from the hops. rather thick. Taste is heavy, thick, sweet, buttery malts. Mild bitterness, decent amount of hoppy taste though. Malts aren’t really complex. sweet, caramelly malts. not too great. some alcohol

Dark brown with thin head and low carbonation. Aroma is really malty and sweet. Flavour is similar with lots of dried fruit too. There’s a light hop bitterness and also a hint of tropical fruit syrup. Very flavoursome. No hint of the alcohol.
