On Tap. Pour is a clear golden color with an average white head. Aroma is of tropical fruits and citrus notes. Flavor is mildly bitter with piney hops and pale malts. Pretty much a standard sesson IPA.

Sample at the tap room. The beer pours a clear pale amber color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of fruit, hops and bready malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly bitter piney hops, fruit and doughy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

12oz bottle. I’m not getting much papaya. There is some pronounced bitterness, also some earthiness...the honey malts sort of smooth the earthiness out. Kind of soap, astringent. Boldly bitterly hopped but not that enjoyable overall.

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle ($2.25): Pours copper with white head. Aroma is tropical fruit and pine. Taste is rather on the bitter and full side for a session IPA. Basically, this is way more like an IPA than are many beers that fall into the style. Piney bitterness pervades the finish. Pretty good.
