Bottle. Color: Black, thin frothy and milkshake-like light brown head. Aroma: Sweet caramel fudge. Taste: Super dense, dark chocolate, sweet caramel fudge, subtle salty notes, sweet vanilla, marshmallow, mocha coffee. Hints of roasted malt, nuts. Boozy hints. Reminds me of 'Hertog IJs karamel traktatie', sweet caramel icecream. Very sticky, full body, below average carbonation. This one is a dessert beer for sure. Over moderate bitterness and roasted malt, along with that overwhelming caramel taste, at finish. As a sweet dessert or even a milk-shake I would love this taste, but rating it as a beer makes me questioning how to rate this one… Edit after some minutes: It's over the top for a beer in my opinion. The first sips are ok, but after about 1/3 of the bottle it's just too much. Hard to drink a whole 33cl bottle at once. Minus points for that, although the first few sips were a great experience. I've had other dessert beers that were much easier to finish a whole bottle. Just not my kind of beer, although I can understand higher rating from others.
