Unser Bitburger Winterbock ist ein helles Bockbier, verfeinert mit Bitburger Siegelhopfen und Aromahopfen Callista. Es ist süffig-kräftig im Geschmack und somit ideal geeignet für den Biergenuss zur Winterzeit. ABV: 7.0%. Clear medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, malty, sweet malt - marzipan malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, grass, pale malt, sweet malt, malty, rich, bock like, hops bitter, marzipan malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20221028]

Bottle, 7.0%. Lagery aroma with a rough and slightly bready hop note. Almost clear golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is peppery and malty. Rustic bitterness, but clean enough, and slightly bready. Not a sweet or caramelly Heller Bock, but a solid effort.

Bottle @ Franken. Shared with Tommy og Pia. Pours clear golden with a creamy white head. Sweet and nutty. Prickly hot alcohol and a bit of marzipan.

Bitburger macht im TV über Ihre Nebenbiere immer ein Gewese, als hätte man grad im Wrack der Titanic Omas Vanillegeheimnis gefunden. Also nur logisch, dass man dieses exklusive Premiumbier nur wenigen Auserwählten kredenzt, die den Weg zu ALDI finden. Kurz zusammengefasst: Künstlicher gehts kaum. Aber immernoch besser, als das matte Wasser, dass sie sonst so zusammenkochen.

Bottle 33cl. from a Rewe supermarket @home poured into a chalice. Clear shiny deep golden colour, mid-sized frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma sweet malts, toffee, pear, some honey, light citrus peel, candy sugar, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, toffee, some honey, light orange, apricot, light alcohol notes kick in at the end. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation, smooth rather short caramellish sweetbitter aftertaste, short roasty notes, alcohol well-hidden, easy to drink, very nice actually.
