Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is thick smoke, malt, peat, carmel, and ash. Flavour is mild sweetish with a fairly bitter peaty finish. Body is medium. Could be more smooth.

Magus, nats suitsune, karamelline, linnaseline, mõru. Ok.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, dark brown colour with minimally late awakening, average, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, sulphureous, dark beige head. Chocolately, dark malty and slightly peaty aroma, hints of leather, milk chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty, slightly caramel malty and minimally peaty, hints of caramel, milk chocolate, a touch of leather; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation. Not overly complex, decently adapted BA support - OK.

Flesje gedronken bij H en B. Roodachtig bruin bier met beige schuim. Aroma is rokerig en fruitig van pruimen. Smaak is rokerig, moutig en whisky achtig. Nasmaak is wat pittig van de alcohol.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een bruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een rokerige geur. De smaak is moutig en whisky achtig met wat rokerige tonen.

Basisbier veel te dun voor deze whisky wat mij betreft. Ongebalanceerd. Ook een beetje ijzer in de smaak.

Ik kan me dan weer zo opwinden dat dit op UT een rauchbier genoemd wordt. Dit is géén rauch. Dit is turf/peat. Op een dubbelbock. Het heet ook gewoon bockski en de brouwer zet op het etiket dat het een dubbelbock is. Wat is daar onduidelijk aan?

Bottle. Dark amber color. Smoke, bread, hint of peat in the aroma and flavor. Full bodied, malty, bready. Hint of tar. Peach. Tasty.
