Een complexe, zware Stout. Aardedonker, bijna gitzwart bier met 11% alcoholvolume. Deze karaktervolle bovengister zit vol met intens geroosterde moutige smaken en geuren zoals koffie, cacao, geroosterd brood en karamel en gedroogd fruit. Een zoete en lichte bittere de afdronk.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a pint glass. Pitch black colour, good creamy tan head, good retention and lacing. Aroma roasted malts, coffee, dark caramel, cocoa, liquorice, light dried dark fruits. Smooth taste, above medium sweet and light bitter, roasty, dark choclate espresso, dark fruits, some dark caramel, liquorice, some alcohol. Full-bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonation, smooth sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering chocolate & cocoa notes, alcohol well-hidden, very tasty, well-made, very good brew indeed.

33cl bottle (11%) from Jumbo supermarket in Stein, Nethelands. F: medium, tanned, not long lasting. C: dark, opaque. A: rich malty, drak fruits, chocolate, bit coffee, dark bread crust, bit vinous, spicy, dark cherries. T: full malty base, chococlate, dark fruits, bit coffee, dark cherries, bit vinous, caramel, toffee, soft carbonation, reminds me de Struise, very good, fully enjoyed.
