Foeder Cerise is a sour golden ale brewed with a mix of brettanomyces and several different souring cultures. We then age it for 6 months on top of Montmorency Cherries. The flavors produced are sour cherry and cinnamon with a touch of Brett funk. This batch comes from our 30bbl Italian oak Foeders.

Keg at the King's Arms Bethnal Green. A plum, orange red coloured pour with a fading head. Aroma is sweet and sour, cherry cough syrup, farmyard funk. Hard cheese. Berry. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, crystallised cherry. Super sour, puckering sour, underripe plum, red cranberries, palate is medium sweet, puckering sour, prickly, moderate carbonation. Super intense. Like a Iced cherry wine. Lingering woody tannin.

Keg at the Kings Arms - Hackney. Pours mostly clear pink-gold with limited white head. Decadent sour cherry aroma, mild funk. Light-medium sweet flavour, lots of ripe and tart cherry, a little dough, moderate acidity, some sweet bitterness, lemon. Light bodiednwith fine carbonation. More tart cherry in the finish, sturdy acidic bite, mild dryness, wood, seeds. Solid.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is very complex, with cinnamon, light brett funk, intense cherries, and oak. Flavour is intense, with lots of acidic cherries, cinnamon, vinous notes, oak and light funk. Highly acidic, with a finish of spicy cinnamon, juicy cherries and oak. High carbonation. Complex and well-designed. Lovely.

Bottle, 0.375l. Aroma of sweet cherries, grape skin, vinegar, horse blanket and cinnamon. Clear amber brown color with thin quickly diminishing tan-like head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts grainy with fruity esters, follows by citrus, sweet cherries, tannins, wood and some funk, mouthfeel is tingling, while finish is still astringently sour. Medium body, thin texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Cherries from hell...

Bottle, 375 ml, from Beer Republic. Shared with JFK10000 and Max. Dark orange, small off-white head. Superb, citrus, wood, malty, funk, lots of barrel. Cherries. Nice deep layered fruity wood flavor. Quite sour. Complex. Superb!

Red/orange colour with No head.Aroma is spicey and sour with taste of Cinnamon and tart berries Hood acid nots and hint og Wood and Cherry really nice overall.
