(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, mahogany colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Sweet dark malty aroma with notes of dried fruits, fruit confit and traces of alcohol. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a calm carbonation. Solid dark malty and slightly vinous fruity taste with notes of raisins and spicy herbal accents; sweet and vinous fruity finish with present but warming alcoholic notes. A little bit too fat for my taste, better to be sampled during the cold days of winter. 01.VI.12

Bottled 330ml (BZ, BB 08/2014)
Deep dark brown color, vanishing head. Caramel, licorice, soya sauce and brown sugar in the nose. Impression varies after ever sniff. Medium-bodied. Starts sweet, then some hops, soya sauce and herbal notes. Finish has some vegetably flavors. Feels a bit flat and is thin for this ABV. Warming alcohol in the aftertaste. Similar to some German strong doppelbocks,

3rd Wiener Bierfest, Vienna, Austria. Sampled by Kis Salétrom and Szebeni Ászok.

Bottled 330ml. -from Jodl Graz. Brown coloured, small beige head, strong dried fruits and mild alcohol in the nose. Moderate malty, dried fruits and caramel with warming alcohol in the finish. Good beer but expected maybe better or just more complex brew. Goes well with dark chocolate.
