Meget mørk brun. Lillebitte offwhite skum, ender som en tynd ring. Aroma: rosiner, gær, alkohol. Det samme gælder smagen, hvortil der kommer noget krydret. Alkohol er skarp i smagen og dominerer eftersmag.

500ml bottle. Ruby red glowing, black-ish darkest brown colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Dark malty and fruity aroma with a slightly alcoholic touch like fruit in rum, red and dark berries, cherry, plum and the like, yeasty overtones. Taste is dry and minimally roasty dark malty, subtle sweetness, hints of red fruit, plum, fruit paring, a sirupy touch, hints of alcohol, yeasty overtones. Heavy, slightly alcoholic, alleviating carbonation improves drinkability.

50 cl bottle @ Tampella, BBE 21.01.2015
Aroma has roasted malt and some cocoa – feels like a German dunkel. Perhaps also some licorice. Flavour has licorice, berries, roasted malt and woody tones. Some chili tones here too. Palate is a bit too high on CO2. Still feels like dunkel, what is the snuff or Belgian here? Too sweet anyway.

Taste is medium sweet, light acidic and light bitter. Body is oily with good carbonation. Finish is long with notes of roast, roasted malt, burnt sugar, caramel, chocolate, coffee, wine and alcohol. Rich and indeed rough!

Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body, pretty much like Coke. Earthy fruity spicy aroma with bubblegum notes. Sweet-dryish earthy dried fruit taste with bubblegum and spice notes. Full-bodied. Sharpish, fairly hot mouthfeel. Dryish earthy licorice and spice aftertaste with roasty dried fruit notes. Nice, drinkable, perhaps a bit strong and dense. (0.5l bottle, from Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)

50cl bottle at Vulkan ølfestival. Dark brown with a small, beige head. Malty aroma with raisins, caramel, licorice and hints of alcohol. Sweet and malty with a mild licorice flavour and a lightly bitter finish. Quite pleasant, but a bit too sweet. (2012-10-03)
