Draught at Dansken, 2:a Lång Göteborg, on July 1, 2016.Hazy amber to copper color, small white head. Chili, alcohol, sugary, fruity scent. Fruity, alcohol, chili aftertaste. Almost intense chili aftertaste, long lasting. Medium to full mouthfeel, low bitterness that is overpowered by chili. At first had the overall at 15, but two of us didn’t want to finish a small glass, so lower that. Other scores reflects first impressions.

Bottle. Pours clear dark golden to light amber with small white head. Aroma is prunes, port wine, apricot jam, malt, grain and iron. Taste is medium to very sweet, medium bitter, light acidic and faint salty. Body is oily to creamy with light carbonation. Finish is long and sweet with clear notes of medium hot chilli, pepper, syrup, prunes, sweet licorice, malt and iron. Excellent balance and nice distinct chilli flavour! Probably very good with South-east Asian or Mexican food.

Initielt snill og grei men med mye DMS, før chilien setter inn. Masse chilli. Jaja. Interessant, men frister ikke til gjentakelse.

Bottle from local supermarket. Pours cloudy dark amber to light brown with a small to medium beige head that mostly disappears and leaves no lacing on the glass. Aroma is malty first, then the chilli kicks in strong in the throat, warm, not quite burning. The taste is heavy sweet, light bitter. Long warm spicy finish.

Sample from tap, Amagerbro Ølfestival. Cloudy amber colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with caramel, fruits and a spicy, chilli note. Some earthiness. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Chillies are burning the palate. Finishes overly hot with chillies, spicy-fruity notes and caramel malts. The brewer has tried to brew a beer that had so much burn in it as possible, he totally forgot that balance is an important part of a beer.

Bottle. Hazy deep amber liquid with small white head. Aroma of banana, red berries, light chili, vanilla and sweet grain. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of chili, red berries, banana and sweet malt. Not too hot, expected it too be worse. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Eh, decent beer but a bit pointless.

Bottle. Cloudy amber, no head. Light vegetal aroma, chili burn when you really inhale. Medium light fruity base, mellow mouthfeel. Burn in the back of the throat, fermented Orange. I like the chili approach, the surrounding flavours could be a bit more interesting
