Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, orangey golden with a rough, white head. Rather neutral aroma, pehaps a very vague whiff of chili. Rich, sweet body but you sense the chili immediately building up to a solid burn. Sugar and chili - what an oddball. 301014

Small slightly bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, wet grain, hay, sugar, yeast, dried fruits, almonds, hints of banana. Taste is slightly sweet, with an instant mild warming chili touch, wet grain, dried fruits, yeast, sugar, grass, weeds, light malts. Medium bitterness, slightly grainy mouthfeel with a nice warming chili touch. Fair enough.

bottle from superbrugsen enghavevej. cloudy yellow, small bubbly yellowish head. aroma is malts and chili, faint flowery note. judging from the aroma there might be a good dose of chili in this one. Flavor is strong chili, burning, also some faint flowery notes. I would say the chili dominates so much that it is kinda hard to taste what type of beer it is, or how it is made. You can get used to it, but i find it too strong although the chili experience is fine, it’s not very much like a beer.. re-rate, tasted some more times, beginning to like it more i think. Pours unclear yellw, not much head. aroma is chili herbal, and what might be a strong triple with not that much belgian yeasty aromas, or perhaps a barley wine, but a dry one, with less malts than ordiarily. So you have this chili stinginess on top, and some sweet slightly fruity slightly yeasty-beligan-messy stuff below that. It works well, the fat aroma from yeast and malts gives a good foundation for the agressive chili herbal bite. orig.(5,2,5,3,11). Flavor is mainly chilies, hot burning chilies, but not unpleasantly hot, but probably as hot as it can get before getting silly. balanced by a strong sweet and malty yet also fruity and flowery ( like a strong tripel i think ) beer flavor, that makes sure the chili doesn’t go watery and flat. aftertaste is more chili burn and faint flowery sweetness. I think that looking back, this is the most successful chili beer i have tasted, and i sometimes buy it just bc i like it. You want to drink this if you feel like chili and beer, not if you feel like beer and chili...

Bottle@Ølmesse, Voldby - pours gold with small white head. Sweet malty fruity hoppy and floral aroma and taste, chilli on the palate, kind of weird for me. Not a fan.
