Occidental's take on the lager style that changed the beer world forever. This is a largely Bohemian-style pilsner with a bit of a Bavarian pedigree. Crisp, clean and dry. Czech hops crown this beautiful beer.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear, bright gold with a creamy wite head. Aroma is Saaz with a pear note. Arguably med body. Flavor is moderate Saaz with that pear note. Bready support. Clean, arguably crisp, tasty, good.

Pour is a uber clear gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is a sweet bready malt with some nobel hop. Flavor is again a little on the sweeter side with some graininess and a pretty aggressive bitter hop. It was ok just a few things that did not do it for me.

Actually a very nice pilsener. Lots of big saaz. Golden pour without much head or lacing. Crisp finish. Tap at brewery.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold-yellow with a large, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Aroma of grainy pale malt, biscuit, lemon rind and yeast. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, lemon and earthy yeast with a dry, crisp, bitter grass finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and easy drinking.

Doug Fir, Portland: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is super grainy and bready. Taste is bitter and super grassy. Probably more dirty than I would have wanted.

16 oz Can from Brewers Haven. Pale golden, nice fluffy head, streaky lacing, big, fat carbonation bubbles. Pretty. Aroma is grains with a faint whiff of some hops. Taste sticks to the plan, grainy and bready, finishing with a nice hops bite. Another nice outing from Occidental.
