Bottle picked up at Bachanalia, Cambridge, 11-10-08 Pours orange/amber with white head. Malty spicy brew with a touch of citrus, some ginger and interestingly I get some chard flavours also.

Bottled (from Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam). Reddish amber colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruits, flowery hops as well as mild yeastyness. Also some pine and mild wooden notes. Flavour is wood, spices, some yeast and green apples. Mild alcoholic sting too. Spices, wood and yeast in aftertaste.

Bottled (BB 02/2009)
Almost clear amber color (before pouring the yeast), small white head. Toffee, ryebread, malts making kind of musty biere de garde -type nose. Crisp carbonation. Toffee, clove, iron, nuts and sticky hops in the flavor. In the aftertaste slight bitterness and touch of vanilla. Interesting and not really Belgish.

Bottle at ZBF08. Malty, dusty aroma. Cloudy orange colour, small white head. Smoked flavour with some malt. Quite malty actually, and both malt and smoke are tastable.

Draught. Fully hazy orange-foxy beer with a yellowish tinted head of gargantuan proportions, leaving textbook lace. Very fruity/estery nose with oranges, strawberries, kakifruit. Coloured malts, ambréemalt. Again a vaguely strawberry reminiscence in the taste, going over in very fruity flavours. I seem to get quite some tannines. Citrus is still present. Certain mineral water quality; refreshing, slickness in the finish. Pleasing beer, if not really great, but IMO already the best from this young microbrewer. 9% - light in alcohol????
