Golden in color with an intense citrusy, floral aroma due to a lengthy dry hop process. Expect flavors of citrus, fruit, light malt, hints of powdered sugar, and American hops. Finishes clean and dry with a smack of hoppy goodness.

Bottle. Hazy, dark amber body with a small, off-white head. The aroma is initially citrusy with notes of orange and grapefruit with a hint of grass. Strong malty notes of grain, toast and caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately bitter and moderately acidic. The finish is lightly bitter, but is lasting. Medium body with a fairly smooth texture, just slightly on the watery side. Average carbonation. Above-average IPA, but not as clean (too heavy on the malts) nor as robust in aroma as my favorite India pale ales. Thanks to BigMaze.

12oz bottle-pours a foamy tan head and hazy orange/brown color. Aroma is citrus/pine hops balanced with medium malt-caramel. Taste is bitter, citrus/pine hops, balanced with medium malt-somewhat sugar/burnt caramel. OK carbonation. Nice. Finishes bitter with some tannins. Cross with ASA.

Hazy amber color. Nutty aroma (peanuts and hazelnuts), with a touch of vegetables, then caramel and hops. Medium body, with a dry toffee flavor, oily hops, some pleasant sweetness, a bit resiny and fruity. The final is well resiny and bitter. Good and quite powerful, but somehow chaotic.

12 oz. bottle from mj. Pour is a clear golden red with a nice off-white head. Aroma of wet, piney hops and some semi-sweet malt (baking chocolate?). Taste is more of the piney hops throughout, with a nice malt backbone and a dry, bitter piney hop finish. Not terribly complex, but quite enjoyable. Thanks Mike!

Shockoe festival Richmond VA-Draft: Beefy aroma. Clear amber pour, medium yellow head. Tastes of raisins and mincemeat, but not as sweet. Good hop finish. Unique and uprated for originality.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, medium notes of hops, and light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty again with strong notes of caramel, and hoppy notes giving it hints of pine needles, leading to a OK bitter finish.

Draft at Virginia Beer festival. Poured with a dark, clear amber body. Aroma was sweet grapefruit and caramel. Taste is citrus (mainly grapefruits). Really good to be honest.

Dark amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet floral hops aroma with a nutty malty background. Sweet floral hops flavor, some caramel, and more nutty malt in the end.

Bottled, thanks Immy! Clear ruby, dense creamy head. Striking lychee aroma. Sweet and powerfully hoppy. Alcohol shines through as orange liqueur. The mouthfeel is clean and th efinish is very bitter and lingers for an eternity. Superb hop character. With a softer malt character it’d be something very special.
