This is the second vintage of our apricot blonde sour, 100% fermented in wine barrels. The apricots were added directly to the barrels early in fermentation and allowed to release all their aromatic potential during the long Brettanomyces fermentation. The resulting aromas are funky and fruity in the best way. The classic brett earthy funk gives way to layers of ripe apricot and white chocolate oak character.

Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours translucent gold with a transient white head. Mildly sour apricot aroma. Med body or nearly. Flavor is mildly sour, mildly apricot, somewhat astringently oaky. Quite approachable sour.

Bottle at Bishops Vasagatan. Pours bright, hazy yellow with white head. Aroma of apricot, light funk, oak and light dust. Very nice apricot taste, oak, light vanilla. Not so much carbonation, light body. Highly drinkable and maybe Iβd like a little bit more sourness but overall a lovely fruited sour ale.
