Cloudy reddish with a moderate airy pinkish head. Aroma: cherry stone, lactic notes, spicy hints. Light body. Taste: light, watery, light sourness. A touch of cherry stone. Drinkable stuff.

Red colored, unclear, pinkish small head. Some cherry notes, tart, light wheat, some saltiness, moderate sourness, dry finish. Light bodied, lively carbonation, watery.

Vom Varvar kommt wieder dieses komische Sauer-Bier. Es ist auf jeden Fall einmal etwas neues: Ein Sauerbier, das mit frischen Kirschen vergoren wurde. Dadurch beisst es nicht so stark und macht es leichte bekömmlich als ein klassisches Sauerbier, auch wenn es noch ordentlich Säure hat. Etwas verstörend wirken die kleinen Zwillige mit den Kirschköpfen, die böse-verwirrt dreinblicken...

On tap at Varvar Bar, pours an opaque bright dark reddish pink with a small beige head. Aroma brings out subdued fresh cherries upfront, with a bit of tangy, briney and saltiness. Flavour is very bright, with fresh cherries, very light sourness, and a bit of saltiness. The bartender described this to me as “very sour”, but this barely qualifies as sour to the North American market. Either way, this is very nice.

04.05.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from silpo in kiev, 53.99uah, bb 19.03.2018+90days. pours a slightly hazy pale crimson with a medium pink head. aroma of funk, sparkling wine, cherries, lactic notes. flavour of cherry kompot, fruit cocktail, almonds, slight funk. not too sour, light and refreshing. not so bad actually, better than ay radler on a hot day.
