Black color, light beige head with short retention. Aroma with a high presence of roasted malts and black chocolota. Flavor is slightly bittery, roasty, tobacco hints. Roasty and black chocolate final. Dry mouthfeel.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av choklad, korn, kaffe, rostad malt, havre, lakrits med toner av tobak och vanilj. Rund och len, bra balans, djupa smaker, komplex, fin beska. Mycket gott!

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pitch black with a beige head that leaves lacing. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, nice earthy bitterness. Some chewy tobacco and a hint of chalk. Rich and perfectly balanced. Solid, classic stout.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black with mid sized beige head. Rich aroma of tobacco and licorice. Mid sweet with medium-full body and soft mouthfeel. Molasses, licorice, strawberries and tobacco. Black pepper linger in the finish. Rich, yet relaxed and harmonious. Another winning beer from one of my favourite brewers.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in August 2017. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, some caramel and light dried fruit. Similar taste. The body was medium as was the bitterness. Fairly soft and easy to drink. A pleasant one.
