Huge fizzy-creamy foreverlasting head, slightly cloudy straw colored. Aroma is slightly dry smoked grassy, weeds, leafs, smoked hay, flowers, grass, shed, minerals, yeast, paper, juniper. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish grassy, weeds, smoked hay, flowers, minerals, bark, paper, grass, light malts, shed, heather, yeast. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mineraly mouthfeel. Nice.

Nice bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly dry and fresh floral, coriander, grass, fruit stones, yeast, hay, fresh wood, juniper, minerals, sorrel, bark, shed. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, yeast, hay, coriander, grass, shed, juniper, fruit stones, minerals, heather. Medium bitterness, slightly dry yeasty mouthfeel. Nice.

Medium white head doesn't last. Hazy opaque yellow body. Delicate smoked mealy raw ale aroma is very harmonic. Sweetish smoky mealy taste with floral herbal strawy grainy fruity notes. (The straw and grain are the raw ale flavours. There are more flavours from the rawness, but I can't pick them out so clearly here. I'll use "raw ale" as a shorthand from here on.) Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy delicate smoked aftertaste with toasty fruity raw ale notes. A mealy, grainy, fruity flavour lingers a long time. The raw ale flavour is hard to analyze, because it blends so well with the smoke, but it really adds to the beer, which makes this a rather unique commercial Norwegian beer. Excellent beer! Really very well done: delicate, harmonic, and extremely drinkable, with clear character. I'm impressed. The beer improves quite a bit as it warms. (0.4l draft at Røør, Oslo.)
