  IPA - Milkshake Series
Score
7.46

This heavily dry-hopped Milkshake-style IPA was brewed with lactose sugar and apple pectin, and was conditioned on vanilla and a huge amount of mango puree.

What it smells and tastes like: Intense aromas of mango, vanilla and fruity tropical hops lead into a full-bodied beer which tastes like melted mango sherbet. Delicious.

On tap at the brewpub. Opaque Orange pour, tiny white head, looks like mango nectar. Aroma is off the hook. A distinct balance between the copious amounts of mango nectar, vanilla, and citrusy hops. Both are strong, but distinct from each other but also mingle together beautifully. The mouth feel is creamy, but still pleasant and not distracting. The finish is a blast of mango, and citrus fruit with a soft creamy vanilla. This is the beer version of a mango Creamsicle, this was incredible. This caused my beer rating head to explode, I couldn’t find anything to not make me give this a 5. This was unreal.

Bouteille 500ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur orange brillant opaque, mousse beige pâle fugace.

(bottle) cloudy yellowish orange brown colour with a small white head; aroma of mango, grapefruit; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish; seems less fruity and more IPA like than some of the previous milksharks
