Mixed fermentation by yeasts of Belgian and wild origin presents in oak vats. After 4 months, the maturation continues in oak barrels for another 12 months in which it takes place a lactic refermentation after the addition of caramelized sugar and lactobacillus. Finally it receives a generous quantity of cherries thus completing its 20 months of refinement.

Draught. Rocky white fair mostly deminishing head. Red amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy very acetic aroma. Moderate bitter very nice sour flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

On tap @ What's Brewing 17. Pours cloudy dark red, with a rocky head. Aroma is tart fruity notes with sour cherries and fruit peel, as well as some wooden notes. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity notes, with hay, cherries, grapes, wooden barrels and tannins.

Tap @Drunken Duck in Quinto V. - Italy. Dark purple pour, little and short lasting foam a bit rosè. Nose is red fruit, cherries mainly, with vinous feel far away. Mouth is a bit sweet, softly cherry feel with decent sour/bitter end.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 1. Bright red. Nose is weird acidic, varnish with some soap. Spoiled taste, chemical, rotting soap, milky. Body is soap & spoiled fruit. Another LoverBeer of which I am not fun, a few of their beers are great.

Mørk rød noe tåkete med lavt beigerosa skum. Lukter sure bær, kirsebær. Middels fylde. Smaker surt. Sure kirsebær, lett syrlige epler og noe søtlig vanilje. Sitter lenge.

Tap. Purple color with pinkish head. Aroma is sweet intense cherry flesh, not much more. Taste is sweet cherry, creamy mouthfeel. Damn, this is sweet.
