1/2 Pint Cask @ Olde Mitre Tavern. Clear golden. Nose is very oily stone fruit, almost sulphur. Taste is basic oily fruit, bit watery, oily corn, sunflower seeds, fruit,… Low watery oily sunflower seeds. Quite fair, not too bad at all.

Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, biscuits, a touch of wheat and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Quite nice.

Shared 500ml bottle with Mat in a Birmingham street while awaiting a bus back to Shropshire after a full day tasting at Richie the Villain’s house on 24th Aug 2014. Light golden amber and clear body, small white head that stayed. Mixed fruit basket in the nose and taste with the citrus fruits pushing less aromatic ones into the background. Refreshing and a pleasant, easy drinking brew that doesn’t test the taste buds too greatly but satisfied my need at the time.

A surprise 500ml bottle shared by Blackhaddock waiting for a train replacement bus, Birmingham City Centre, following the inaugural Midlands Bottle Share. Lovely floral hops shine out of this with a good bitter linger on the finish. A good beer to have after a tasting session.
