New England’s Original IPA | As enjoyable today as it was in ‘93, IPA is a regional favorite and a craft beer classic. Styled after an English IPA but brewed with distinctly American hops, it’s citrusy, refreshing, and perfectly balanced– as perfect on a Cape Cod beach as it is in a VT ski lodge or Boston dive bar.

Cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is floral, grapefruit, orange peel, peach and grass with a little caramelly malt. Sweetish with a decent hopflavour and bitterness. Nothing special

Aroma: Hoppy, floral
Appearance: White fluffy head, dark golden color
Flavor: Citrus, floral...right amount of bitterness
Palate: Light/Med Body, Slight Alcohol finish
Overall Impression: This is one of my go to beer when its nothing but macros and well-known micros in a store. Its a nice IPA, certainly not an amazing beer, but I'll drink it again and again.

Bottle 355ml. @ home.Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy hoppy, pine. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Very easy to drink and in a good balance. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (180808)

Bottle. Light golden colour. No head. Light grape fruit aroma. Low hop flavor and bitterness for this beer style. Kind of thin in all aspects.

Pours clear dark golden color with white head. Floral hop aroma. Mild hop bitterness balanced well with sweet maltiness. Medium body with average carbonation. Nothing really stands out.

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of orange and pine resin. Flavour had plenty of sweet malts, with citrus and floral hops and a dry, peppery finish. Good stuff.

Bottle from Wine Cellar. Amber color with a decent white head. Aroma seems primarily resin. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is more resin than citrus. Finish turns a bit malty with some citrus. It’s a good ale. I’d do it again.

Bottle: Clear golden pour and a small white head. Nose is smooth and sweet with plenty of citrus and caramel. Too bad the flavor gets muddled. Kind of chalky and a little soapy into some floral bitters. Ahhh, the smell was to good to be true. Thanks Matt.

Light amber with a thin white skin. Nice citrus aroma nut a stale woody flavor. Lacking by a couple dozen IBUs and much of any hop flavor. Modest carbonation and a light bod. Dissapointing
