New England’s Original IPA | As enjoyable today as it was in ‘93, IPA is a regional favorite and a craft beer classic. Styled after an English IPA but brewed with distinctly American hops, it’s citrusy, refreshing, and perfectly balanced– as perfect on a Cape Cod beach as it is in a VT ski lodge or Boston dive bar.

Bottle Pours out a straw topped with a white head. Lots of malt and floral hops. Tast of the malt and crisp hops. Thanks Pink

355ml bottle from Utobeer. Amber golden body under a white, one-finger head. Flowery hop aroma followed by a medium fruit hoppy taste leading to a dry bitter ending. Easy drinking and rather average IPA (Maldon, 03.05.2008).

Bottle. Pale golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is warmingly hopped and dry, and the flavour is very well hopped, fruity and deeply dry at the finish. Overall a very nice beer.

Bottle, courtesy of a Slothez import. Pale golden colour with a thick white head. Slightly metallic aroma. Hints of malt and hops but not really much of anything going on here. Very disappointing and uninspiring brew.

Bottle from Utobeer. Gold with lasting white head. American hop aroma, a little woody, some grapefruit. Fairly toned down US IPA. Malts are a bit wonky. It?s fine, but as I say needs a bit more backbone. Hops are pretty generic.3.0 Re rate On tap at the brewery Boston. Crystal clear gold lasting white head. . Some sherbet hop on finish. Very clean .Very drinkable. Cold and clean with enough hop to be interssting. At 5.9% expect a bit more character. But this is clean and easy drinking .

Bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007
Blond color. Nice hoppy aroma, some fudge. The malt body is too thin, there is the usual caramel flavor, quite strong hopping but not too special, just some dry resins. Plain.

Sample from tap at the brewery. Pours clear orange with an off white head. Clean grapefruit hops aroma with a malty sweetness beneath. Flavour is sweet, floral, mildly bitter. Mellow soft mouthfeel into a mild sweet finish. Vague bubblegum note. Decent ipa.

Va BF 07 Draft: No aroma. Golden color, thin head. Floral taste, a bit bitter, nothing distinctive.. Weak finish. Rather mediocre IPA IMHO.
