was stuck at a local bar for an xmas party tonight. The selection of beer were the usual Molson, Labatt products. I figured i would give this one a whirl. Well no surprise, tastes like every other molson product. Do you remember the Simpsons episode when Homer and Barney go to the Duff Brewery? And in the brewery they see see 3 huge vats of beer, Duff, Duff Dry, and Duff Light, and all three are being fed from the same pipe? Well i’m convinced thats what it looks like at Molson.

Pours yellow into a shaker. Bright white head quickly recedes to nothing. Cracker and rice aromas. Soft with sweet corn, meadow and earthy multigrain front to back. Medium length sourdough finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours pale golden, clear, with a white head. Aroma is boozy: juniper, gooseberry, booze. Taste is dry, medium-bodied, short-lingering. Bah.

Can at YYZ lounge. Was hoping for something different than standard Molson. Pretty similar but more bitter, less sweet.

Yup, I’m getting closer to being almost done with the BMC stuff. Almost there, well, here’s my take on this one.
Always had in a pint glass.
The appearance was always a decent looking yellow color with a decent transparency about it. There was always no head and there almost always was never any lacing.
The smell had some cooked/burnt corn/rice sort of thing going on.
The taste was just sweet and not balanced.
The palate was mainly a light on the body and had a very good sessionability about it.
Overall, this wasn’t a bad AAL, mostly just an average one.

Big fucken can @ home, courtesy of BlackIPA. Pours a clear golden appearance with a nice white head. Sweet corn, vanilla, bubblegum aroma. Really smooth, sweet fruity malty, lemon, orange, candy, banana flavor. Solid macro pale lager. Would drink again.
