A Canadian industrial lager. I often drank this back when I was in college. Nothing special really just pale yellow fizzy beer. Drink it cold or not at all.

Bouteille 341ml.

Originally rated July 2006. This popular Quebec swill pours a pale yellow colour with a white foamy-fizzy head and decent lacing. Active carbonation that does not stay all that long and creates a flat watery (mild stickiness) mouthfeel. As always, nice malt scent at first, then turns into a chemical alcohol spill. After the cleaning up, corn shows up. The taste is very sweet with malts and slightly dry, for some very light corn/alcohol aftertaste. Pretty light tasting overall with no bitterness. Use to give me headaches after two bottles when I use to work in a bar. Lets see how this king can does.

Boring yellow-orange colour, very little head. Aroma of rice and some vague hops. Flavour is, well, this thing has no flavour, nor do I think it was supposed to have flavour. It’s all about the mouthfeel - it’s clouded by plenty of rice and smooth adjuncts with a hoppy aftertaste. And it is, despite the namesake, not very "dry" at all because of all the lingering rice on the tongue! Totally not working and comes close to false advertising. I am offended, but sadly not surprised.

Overall Impression: Another mediocre Canadian beer, haven't had this one for a while, but I remember it being dull...

Draught in Montreal. Yellow with no head; little flavour, just a trace of corn syrup. My first beer of my Canadian holiday, hopefully this won’t be typical.

Biggish offwhite coarse shiny head. Yellow body with carbonation. Fresh apple and grain aroma. Clean, dry apple and corn taste with papery notes. Some residual sweetness. Aftertaste is the same. Ok, but unremarkable. (0.341l bottle at Presse Cafe, Montreal.)
