Pours a near black from a bottle, light tan head. Aroma is boozy whiskey, orange peel, hint of ginger and dark chocolate. Taste is similar, seems like a manhattan or something like that, big ol' orange peel thrown in there. Good beer.

Beaverfest Day 2. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Very sweet toffee cream malts. Spice. A weird tang. Slightly floral finish. A little odd but still liked it.

Keg at the Beavertown Extravaganza, Day Two, 09/09/17. Rich mahogany brown with a decent tan cap. Nose is choc chip mint, spice, toffee, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises bourbon oak, spice, bitter fruits, herbal notes, toffee, stewed fruit, brown sugars. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Solid stuff and drinks well below the hefty ABV stated.

Tap@Beavertown Extravaganza 2017, London - dark brown coloured pour with beige head. Medium sweet and toasty malty, with some caramel, treacle, toffee, brown sugar, dried fruit notes, some fruity citrus shred spice, bourbon wooden accents and assertive spice into the hot boozy finish.

Bottle 12.5% abv. A very dar brown beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma has anise, dar and dried fruitness, hint of alcohol, something unspecified and interesting spicyness. Taste has fruitness of raisins, anise, some ginger and also other spicyness, hint of alcohol. Medium+ bodied, low carbonation. The barrel is probably there as a wooden end in the taste. Level of spicyness is high and almost too much but still balanced. Tasteful beer.
