And he answers only to the big guy upstairs. Dude's living large, all the while acting as The Rose to the world's moral compass.
That's a ton of pressure being the wisest sage in the land and having your finger on the trigger of Ex Cathedra, Maybe it causes him to throw back a few glasses of the Sacrament from time to time? Lord knows if we were in that situation, we'd tipple to.

brown colour, medium sized dense, though not too stable beige head; aroma of licorice, herbal liqueur, bourbon notes, orange zest oils, maybe some vanilla and intensive alcohol; is the same with burnt plum jam and some cocoa notes; spicy alcoholic aftertaste; good quadrupel, but definitely far from the best ones; surprisingly does not have enough body for the high ABV

Bottle, 12.5% abv (from beergium). Aroma is spicy, wormwood, booze, malt, vanilla. Flavor is sweet and bitter, sugar, spices, malt, vanilla. Finish is sweet, ginger and boozy. Overall: ok, didn't like the nose at all.

Dark brown color with small head that disappears quickly. There is some anise in the the aroma, light mint; that's not very good. The flavor on the contrary is very interesting, like a Christmas Pudding, dark fruits, raisins, brandy, figs, spices. Boozy too.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is intense, with lots of bourbon barrels, lots of ginger, a touch of orange, and caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with a nice mix of bourbon barrels, alcohol and light ginger, with a touch of dark fruits and some oranges. Very hot, but pleasantly warming, with a finish of bourbon and ginger. Very good.

Figgy brown. No head. Aroma is a bit of a mutt - lots of orange hitting this one - some ginger...kind of goes like gluhwein. Sweet, anise, fennel sort of character. Sticky figs and honey. Maybe date molasses, and certainly a touch of ginger. In the finish, getting a bit of booziness. Really muttly - you can tell there's some elements with quality, but overall I'm not entirely sure this comes together all that well.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 2. Feels like something that I should drink more in order to fully grasp it. Oily orange. Nose is hugely oily, corn, flowers with low green vegetable bitter in a good way. Taste & body is all hugely round oily flower, orange oil with some green bitter lingering, unique, very interesting, need to sample more fresh probably at some point. Massive, massive beer with massive spice.
