Barrel aged quadruple ale with ginger & orange.
The Holiest protector of dogmas, doctrines, faith, and spirituality, the Pontiff is in charge of it all. He's got his own Italian city and a bullet-proof Popemobile to take him wherever he wants. And he answers only to the big guy upstairs. Dude's living large, all the while acting as The Rose to the world's moral compass.
That's a ton of pressure being the wisest sage in the land and having your finger on the trigger of Ex Cathedra, Maybe it causes him to throw back a few glasses of the Sacrament from time to time? Lord knows if we were in that situation, we'd tipple to.

Tap. Dark amber-brown color with white head. Aroma is star anis, thyme, earthy, dark malts. Taste is star anis, earthy, reminds me of Gouden Carolus Noël. Works well if you like Anis.

Beavertown extravaganza. Super sweet figs and raisin aroma. Darkest brown. Creamy but thin beige head. Boozy raisins and nuts. Light bodied. Thin. Flat carbonation. Nice... verging on sickly.

375 c&c from Cap Tap. Pours murky brown with a very slight tan head. Aroma of bourbon and chocolate? and uncertain fruit? Near full bodied. Flavor is dark treacle, bourbon, a touch of chocolate, wood, and uncertain fruit - there’s a burn that seems to be from ginger. Not like heat. Certainly I can’t find the orange. All in all tho it is pretty tasty. Decent sipper.

On tap at beer star. Pours out a dark brown topped with a small tan head. Nose is mint black licorice ginger bourbon barrel vanilla and some spice. Taste more of the mint black licorice ginger bite and some sweetness. Very odd
