Bottle. Pours clear copper brown with airy but stable beige head. Clear aroma of caramel malt and yeast, with fruity and nutty touches. Bitter, hoppy and roasty flavour with sweetish notes of caramel malt, fruit and yeast. Bitter and estery aftertaste with touches of roast and hops. Decent. Quite like Salvator but sweeter.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, dark amber with a small, beige head. Caramellish nose, some almond character and some alcohol coming through. Rich, malty body, again caramellish, potent and powerful but also with a slightly odd solvent note. Enough bittering hops to keep the malts and the alcohol in check. Still a solid DB though. 101019
