RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. On tap at NaparBCN. Black colour. Roasty aroma and flavour with notes of bourbon and vanilla. Okay.

9th July 2016: on-tap at BierCaB, Barcelona with the RBESG guys. Poured Jet black with a beige head. Malty nose with a good helping of boozy Bourbon, vanilla and oak esters. Taste is a malty booze fest with a mini-chocolate flavour: good depth body wise. Another dark high alcohol tap for us all to get boosted on mid-afternoon before the evening’s Grand Tasting.

Draft at BierCaB, RBESG 2016. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of big boozy bourbon, oak barrel, alcohol, overripe dark fruit, dark chocolate, caramel, toffee and malt. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation. [09-07-2016]

Tap at BierCaB. Black with dark beige head. Massive bourbon, vanilla, coffee, milk chocolate and roested malts, brown sugar. Quite sweet, over medium bodied with low carbonation and slick feel. Pretty good.

Bottle. Pours black with a dark brown head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has a strong bourbon note with a good amount of dark grains and roasted malts. Flavor also has strong bourbon and dark grains with strong roasted malts and a hint of chocolate.
