Fra fat på Olympen 25 Okt 16. Svart. Mokkafarget skum med litt lacing. Lett lakris/sjokoladearoma. Smaken innholdsrik. Kaffe. Sjokolade. God balanse. Avslutter tørt. Bra men kjedelig.

On tap @ Henrik. It's definitely a dark looking one this. Really deep brown, it's possible to see through when holding it up against the light. On the top there's a medium sized beigeish lacing head. The aroma gives me lots of chocolate. Chocolate paper, chocolate malts and even a little chocolate milk. There's vanilla also in here, and a little coffee in the roasted back. Smells nice. Really smooth and well bodied this, soft on the prickling carbonation. Tastes really good also. Deep roasted, lots of chocolate both bitter and sweet. Hints of burnt toast in the tail. Nice stuff! 29.10.2016

01.09.2016, tap @ UNA:
Tiny bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, dark sugar, toffee, roasted grain, nuts, chocolate, hay, weeds, minerals, ashtray, caramel. Taste is dry and burnt, minerals, weeds, burnt grain, ashes, dark sugar, dark malts, alcohol, medicine, soil, paper, cardboard burnt coffee. Medium bitterness, harsh mineraly and very watery mouthfeel. So boring!

At Bergen Ölfestival 2016. (my first one from this brewery) Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of dark malt, chocolate, some coffee and hints of vanilla. The body was full and the finish long.

Svart med høyt lys brunt skum. Lukter melkesjokolade, kakaopulver og fudge. Middels fylde. Søt start, melkesjokolade og tørketfrukt. Lett bitterhet, kaffe og mørk sjokolade. Middels lang. Noe salt i avslutningen.

Draught at Cafe Sara. Oily pour revealing a jet black body. Shiny naked surface, dotted spots on the glass. Smell of coffee, dark chocolate and berries. Rich and well blended taste profile containing moments of cocoa, coffee beans and black currant promoting a dark, dry bittersweet finish. Warming down the throat without to much prominent alcohol. A very nice drink before dinner being served (in friendly company with Cunningham, Eirik and Maja 21.03.2016).

Not the highest complexity, but what a lovely mellow and smooth tasty. Classy!
Complete black color with a fine beige top. Ok lacing. Good intensity in the aroma. Full body and a smooth carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Nice mellow and yet powerful flavor with coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Solid stuff.
