Smell of roasted malt, peat. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, some rubber, some herbs, finishes with syrup. Lively carbon. Medium sweet. Light body, long finish.

Bortimot svart farge med beige skum. Lukter sjokolade, malt og litt mokkabønner. Ganske mild i smak, Sjokoladepreg i smak også.

Black with a brown head - Malt aroma with some roasted notes - Malt body with roasted flavour with some dark fruity hops in the back - The roasted malts goes into the finish with some bitterness - This was nice

Draught at the brewpub. Beige layer on top of a deep dark rustic body. Fair lacing. Slightly roasted dark malty nose, doughy. Mid-sweet dark chocolate flavours, hints of liqurice followed by a rounded bittersweet roasted ending. Fine drinkability. Nice. (Trondheim 22.06.2017).

On tap @ the brewpub. It's quite dark this. Won't hesitate too much calling this black in the glass and in the top there's a small slowly shattered and islandy beige head. On the nose it's quite nice. Roasted and a little burnt, lots of chocolate wrapper, cocoa and coffee. Undoubtedly the best smelling beer I've nosed from this brewer. Nice. It tastes good also. It has a mild oily, all call it watery light texture in the mouth and it's just above average and growing on the carbonation. Roasted flavors. After the first sip you wait for something to happen. I was hoping for a chili burn, cause it first tasted like it should be one there but it never came. Instead it's dark roasted, a little burnt actually. There's more chocolate wrapper in the taste also. A nice sweetness, and there's not much resistance or bitterness in this one. Easy to drink, nice flavors and a delicious aroma. 27.07.2016

Fra fat på bryggeripuben 13 Jul 15. Svart. Lavt, litt farget skum. God kaffearoma. Teppelacing. Smaken kaffe & lakris. Litt søt. Et gjennomgående forsiktig røykpreg.
