On tap @ Rekord Bar in Drammen. Well, it looks like your average pilsner really. Clear pale and golden with a really lacing just off-white head. Mild sweet pale maltish nose. Some caramel going on here. Hay. Mild fruity also, but all in all nothing that separated this from any old pale lager really. I don't hate the taste but I have to say that it's not too exciting either. Thin oily in the mouth and it's thin and almost creamy on the bubbles. Boring flavors also. Mild sweet, floral. A little metallic towards the finish and aftertaste. Not a favorite one, but it's definitely drinkable as a sweet pilsner. 30.05.2015

Fra kran på Haand Ølfestival 30 Mai 15. Delt med Rune. Stråfarget. Lavt lyst skum. Forsiktig fruktaroma. Mest aprikos. Smaken mer i retning av appelsin & mandarin. Litt tørr bitterhet etter hvert.

On tap at Haand Festival. A lightly unclear orange colored beer topped by a white head. Grains, resin and grass in the aroma, some dms-ish notes too. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, it’s dry and medium bodied, feeling rather refreshing. Grainy pale malts, some resins and pine cones and a grassy touch in the flavor, with a hint of dms towards the end. A decent one, but not the most interesting pilsner in Norway. 150529

From tap, first beer on the 2nd day of Haandbryggeriet Beer Festival. Shared with Finn. A bright golden body topped by a fair bubbly white head leaving spotty lacing to the glassware. Grass, flowers, and hay on the nose. Mid-dry taste of peach, herbs, and leafy hops with mid-sweet pale malts underneath. Smooth bitter endnotes. Easy to drink, clean and refreshing (Drammen 30.05.2015).

Hazy golden color with a white head. Quite ok aroma with some wort, mild fruity and a bit herbal. Ok body and a fine carbonation. Moderate sweet and a fine bitterness (better than their Double IPA!). Herbal, mild fruity, some wort and malty flavor. Decent thirst quencher.

Draught @ Haand Ølfestival 2015, Drammen
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain and lots of apples. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long grainy and apple finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft. This might be a bit harsh since it did have a nice bitterness, but I don’t particularly like pilsners and really can’t stand acetaldehyde in beer.

On tap at Haandbryggeriet Beer Festival. Clear golden with a fairly modest, white head. Somewhat hoppy and surprisingly fruity aroma with some floral notes, pale malt and hints of honey and grass. Moderate sweet with mild, but nice hoppy flavours and a certain bitterness. Tasty and refreshing pilsner. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bryggerhuset Jens Og Terje on 30 May 2015 at 14:20 - Score: 6
