In collaboration with J. Wakefield Brewing, Affogato Imperial Stout is inspired by a few of our brewers' favorite summertime pick-me-up (& cool-me-down) Barrington's affogato. Our Affogato Imperial Stout is delectable, decadent, and smooth. Brewed with a blend of Barrington & Mostra beans, Affogato leads with aromas reminiscent of Vietnamese Iced Coffee (cà phê đá) - powerful course ground dark roast coffee poured over sweetened condensed milk & ice. Flavors of dark espresso, tiramisu, sweet chocolate cake, and smooth vanilla swirl across the pallet. Rich flavor & a dark, inviting appearance, Affogato Imperial Stout is our answer to a sweet summertime treat.

Taster at the source oily black pour with a nice creamy beige head. Aromas of intense fresh coffee, toasted malt and chocolate milk. Taste is rich, creamy and decadent, like a chocolate cake. Notes of cocoa, vanilla, coffee and light ash and syrup with a nice warming alcohol finish. I could drink bottles of this. Amazing.

Keg at the brewery taproom - Canton. Pours oily black with a tight, creamy beige head. Intense aroma of fresh coffee, chocolate syrup, well toasted make. Big sweet flavour, offset slightly by ashy roast, bitter espresso. Lots more creamy chocolate, baking cocoa, fudge. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with more fudge, hefty chocolate, some more syrup, rich creamy coffee, a few dark fruits. Really intense stuff. Like drinking blended chocolate cake and coffee. Really fun.
