Draft. A dark brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, chocolate, bread, and citrus fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap at the 2011 Kuhnhenn Winter Solstice. Pours a near clear brown with a light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of grain and bread with a good amount of underlying nuttiness. Flavor has sweet dark grains and bread with a bit of backing nuttiness.
