Dark brown in color, this American Brown has roasted caramel aromas. It has flavors of nut, caramel, and roasted malt. It finishes on a dry notes. Quite delicious for malty beer lovers.

On tap @ Henrik. This is a deep and dark brown looking one. It also has a nice super lacing dense and creamy beige top. It's both candy sweet and chocolaty on the nose this. Hoppy, yeah, and it has a fruity red-fruit sweetness also. Smells nice if not extreme. Tastes nice also. Immediately it feels a bit astringent on the mouthfeel. Light oily on the texture and it has a near creamy growing carbonation level. Soft nutty chocolaty bitterness in the taste with traces of coffee and wood. A little dry cocoa powder also present here before it ends in a a acidic near wood sour finish and aftertaste. Solid stuff. 13.02.2014

4oz pour at Churchkey pours a hazy brown with some spitty, white head. Nose has tree bark, brown sugar, bread crust, some toasted peanut. Flavor is lightly sweet, chestnut honey, some bread, brown sugar. Watery finish.

Brown pour. Very nutty and good for style. Very good for brown, light bitter finish with some roast, lots of nut. Soft carbonation, medium thick palate. Tap takeover at Churchkey.

Reviewed from notes. Consumed at the Brewery June 2013.
The appearance had a dark brown body with less than a finger of an off white slightly foamy head, a decent amount of lacing graces the sides of the glass.
The smell was nutty, some coffee, some light chocolate, malts, bread all coming through in a sort of way.
The taste was mainly sweet, roasty and dry through the previously mentioned flavors, sweet dry aftertaste and finish.
The palate sat about a medium, sessionable, adequately carbonated and also is good to me as well, slightly crisp.
Overall, I say this is good for the style and good for me as I would have this again.

Craft Islington. Keg. Thanks to Tom for this one. Opaque dark brown beer with a small pale tan head. Palate is semi dry with mild carbonation. Tangy dark malts. No roast or bitterness. Light pruney fruits and lesser generic dark fruits. Tangy light finish. Pretty drinkable.

Keg at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Thanks to Eric for sharing. Pours clear brown with a moderate, tan foam head. Fairly tangy throughout, leading me to believe this beer might be a bit off. Some berries. Medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. More tangy, slightly soured berries to finish. The beer isn’t altogether bad but I just don’t think this is as intended.

(Draught at Fermentoren, Copenhagen, 13 July 2013) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark bread, nuts, chestnuts and caramel. Malty, roasted taste with rye bread, nuts, chocolate and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite tasty and well made. Nice one.
