Svart med kremete høyt lys brunt skum. Lukt av kaffe, kakao og mørke frukter. Smaker bitter aspresso, noe salt lakris med fin sødme av mørke frukter i bakgrunnen. Medium lang bitter avslutning. Grünerløkka Mikrobryggfestival

On tap @ Crowbar. Nice! Didn't think I'd get a chance to try this. The beer itself is a deep dark brownish looking one, looks quite cloudy and perhaps a bit dirty in the glass and it has a nice medium sized heavy lacing brown beige islandy top. Lots of nice aromas going on here. Deep and rich chocolate with lots of cold coffee, roasted malts, vanilla undertones and dark caramel. Smells quite a lot and definitely nice. It feels creamy and quite smooth in the mouth, perhaps a bit light or thin for business in such a heavy one and the carbonation is nice, small bubbly and almost prickling. A good amount of flavor also. Dark roasted chocolate and a really good amount of coffee. I get a good amount of fudge brownies with a almost burned roasty theme all the way. Well masked alcohol as it's just lurking in the background, and it ends with lots and lots of salty delicious licorice. Your don't really think to much about it but it has a pretty strong hoppy profile as well this. Really tasty, but must admit that I was a little bit surprised that it felt so thin as it actually did in the mouth. Not that I really care to much about it. 18.10.2013

On tap at Crowbar. Hazy and very dark, close to black, with a small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, dark fruits, dark malt, licorice and notes of spices and herbs. Sweet and roasty with warming alcohol and a balaced bitterness. Medium+ body with a somewhat soft carbonation. Smooth, tasty and enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Importer on 11 Oct 2015 at 19:23 - Score: 8 --- Beer merged from original tick of Crowlaboration Imperial Stout on 25 Oct 2013 at 16:49 - Score: 7

Appearance: Black color with a fine beige head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Coffee, fruity and some chocolate.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Licorice, fruity, coffee and chocolate.
Overall impression: Lovely nice well balanced oil! Served a little bit to cold. But just got better and better after a while. Some alcohol notes in the beginning. Well hidden in the end.
