From the taster rack menu, tap at the Grünerløkka Brygghus. Lasting tan-coloured head covering a pitch black body. Fragile lacing. Dark malty nose, as well as hints of anise. Chocolate, anise and date flavours supported by dark fruits, a basement touch and a nice roasted bittersweet ending. Well bodied. Velvety on the swallow. Enjoying (Oslo 02.09.2013).

Medium creamy brown head. Opaque black body. Earthy roasty herbal aroma with coffee notes. Dry-sweet roasty sugary toffee taste with chocolatey cardamom notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish dried fruit and roasty chocolate aftertaste with marzipan notes. Very nice. Highly drinkable and full of flavour. Very nice. (0.33l draft, shared with gr0ve at Grünerløkka Bryghus, Oslo.)

Sort med beige skum, deilig fruktig lukt med hint av kaffe. Stout med god fruktig smak. medium bitter, lite kullsyre.

On tap at Grünerløkka mat- og mikrobryggfestival. Very dark brown with a reddish hue and a decent beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dried fruits amd some wooden notes. Medium sweet with nice roasty flavours and a quite balanced bitterness. Surprisingly easy to drink. Nice and tasty.

Medium high creamy longlasting head. Aroma is rich, roasted dark malts, chocolate, burnt caramel, coffee, roasted grain, grass and some vanilla. Taste is roasted dark malts, dark chocolate, espresso, burnt caramel, roasted grain, hay, grass, yeast. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Very nice one, surprisingly good.
