Bottle shared with (and courtasy of) The Bergen tasting crew, and Gunnar. Has a deep clear reddish brown colour with a small beige head. A wonderful aroma of dried fruits, wood, leather, brown sugar and chocolate truffles. More wood in the flavour along with leather, raisins, licorice, dark berries, dark chocolate and some coffee and nuts. The mouthfeel is slick, and has a light bitterness. A delicious beer! What a great beer to cellar.

0.33l bottle courtesy of Gunnar and shared with The Tasting Crew. Big thanks Gunnar! This is a dark brown one with a light bubbly off-white top. Fantastic oxidized on the nose with traces of spices, licorice and cardboard. It's soft on the carbonation and really slick on the mouthfeel. Yeah, it's oxidized in the taste also, with chocolate, nutmeg, cocoa and roasted malts dancing it's way into a lingering aftertaste that never ends! Yeah, really enjoyable. 26.10.2012

Dark reddish colour. Burnt almond, raisins and prunes. I like the mouth-feel, but I’m not that enthusiastic about the alcoholic aftertaste. Interesting! (Thanks to Rune for bringing a 330ml bottle to the second beer session in Tårnrommet 13.01.09)

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Slightly hazy reddish brown with a dense beige head leaving laces. Fat aroma of burned caramel and dried fruit. Quite full-bodied with lightly burned malt and caramel combined with a shot of port. Some alcohol showing in the finish. Almost an Old Ale. Excellent! 220608

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with odd notes of spices, alcohol, and raisiins, but not bad. The flavor is sweet with notes of brown sugar, alcohol, metal from the alcohol, and over ripe fruits.
