This is an artisan beer made with all ingredients from Friuli Venezia Giulia. From the barley that is used to make the malt to the water that comes from the Alps and the valleys of Natisone. The Gjulia beer are unpasteurised, unfiltered and high fermentation. The light sediment present is the result of the natural and traditional bottle re-fermentation process. Complex and elegant taste, banana aftertaste, typical.

Strong wheat nose. Clear pale golden colour, small fizzy white head, disappears quickly, when pourd completely the beer becomes hazy with some tiny yeast particles. Aroma wheat, yeast, orange, light lemon. Taste medium sweet, some bitterness and a touch of acidity, wheat, lemon, very light banana, spicy yeast. Light body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, sweet aftertaste, sugary and banana notes, easy to drink, not really a weizen but okay.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color ale with a large pure white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of wheat malt notes with light cloves and bubble gum notes. Taste is also a mix of strong wheat malt with light residual sugar, cloves and light coriander notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable and refreshing wit.

0.75l bottle @ Local Patriot, Monfalcone. I'm a sucker for these lovely beautiful champagne bottles. It pours a hazy honey golden body with a small and sidesticking white head. It has a really nice and really fresh aroma where I get wheat, oranges and spicy yeast. It's lively on the carbonation with a soft oily texture in the mouth. Flavors are wheaty with lemons and grass before there is a spicy yeasty thing that kicks in. I found this really tasty, and yeah, I liked it. 19.05.2012
