American Black Ale/Black IPA - Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Pro Re Nata Farm Brewery in Crozet, Va. Midnight Wheat malt sets up the black color and rich mouthfeel without adding roastiness. Dry-hopped with Falconer’s Flight hops adds lemon and grapefruit to the flavor and aroma.

Draft at the brewery. Brown pour, orange hue. Beige head and streaky lace. Roasted malt, grapefruit rind, and a little earth. Drinks fairly dry, bitter. Clean. Nice example of the style.
